Give a hoot!

Something my brother once said. I can't remember when, where or why but it was hilarious! ...ok, maybe you had to be there...
I imagine it would take place at this empty reception desk in a hotel, the only thing on the counter would be an owl and if you insulted the owl it would hoot: "O RLY?" and with a puff of smoke the manager would appear.
